The Strawberry Banana strain — commonly called the Strawnana strain — is a beloved indica dominant hybrid with a sweet, fruity taste and an almost hash-like, spicy smell. It is thought to be a cross between Banana Kush and the Strawberry phenotype of Bubble Gum.
The Strawnana strain was created by DNA genetics and serious seeds by crossing Crockett’s Banana Kush with the Strawberry variant of Bubble Gum. Based on this parentage, it can be considered to have origins in India and Afghanistan, among other places.
Regardless of its parentage, it’s much beloved as an Indica with a sweet taste and smell profile and is considered relatively easy to use for beginners. However, its high THC content can catch users off-guard, leaving them more affected than expected.
